The purpose of the Eden Alternative is to provide an alternative philosophy to the current dominant clinical model of providing aged care. Where clinical care is promoted as the focus for life of an aging person, life can become sterile and boring. The Eden Alternative is about ensuring the aging process is fun, empowering and friendly.

Wellington Park is located on 3.5 hectares with a breathtaking open space known as our Eden Farm (link). Merrimac Park is located on 3.5 hectares of which two thirds will never be developed offering amazing views of local native plant and wildlife. Merrimac also offers a parkland called The Green adjacent to its residential care facilities which residents and families can walk to for active recreation.
