The residents recently went on a picturesque drive through Currumbin Valley to Currumbin Rock Pools, where they then enjoyed a pleasant lunchtime BBQ.
It was an ideal picnic spot on what was a wonderful day with warm weather and beautiful sunshine. We all went for little wander through the rainforest areas and had a great time doing so. It truly is such an enchanting place to visit.
We had Tina to thank for a delicious lunch, as she cooked a range of sausages and chops on the BBQ, which was accompanied by a yummy potato salad.
It was a very popular picnic spot, so we certainly didn’t have it to ourselves. There were school kids and a community exchange; then as we were leaving some more school children came along to enjoy the very same spot. But we know exactly why it is so popular!
