From the moment we stepped into Merrimac Park Private Care, we felt that this was the place that we were hoping to find. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and our greeting and orientation by Teegan and then by Letisha & Rebekah was caring and professional. They have always respected our thoughts and wishes for Norm’s comfort and have continued to be open to our comments and views on his high care needs. At Merrimac Park, we have found dedicated staff who do many things to make the families of the residents feel welcome and like this is their home too. The facility is fresh and well maintained and the staff and residents always seem happy, no matter what time of the day we visit Norm. Choosing a safe aged care facility for someone you love was an emotional time for our family and so we were comforted to find a Nursing Home like Merrimac Park Private Care.

There is a current waitlist for ‘fully supported’ low care vacancies but you can still secure a low care bed with an Accommodation Bond negotiated on your asset level. This is the final opportunity before the facility is full at which point we expect to achieve accommodation bonds of $450,000.

I’m relatively new to Wellington Park Private Care and I have found all staff very caring, helpful and prepared to give me time. I suffer a lot of back pain and at night it’s never too much trouble for the staff to apply the hot pack more than once, ensuring I get a good nights sleep. I love going to the Eden Farm to feed the little horse and goats. The Lifestyles staff go out of their way to keep us informed of activities, which they put a lot of effort into and I’m never pressured, only encouraged to join in. I am always reminded it’s my choice.

Merrimac Park will open its second facility in February

Superior Care Group commenced operations at Merrimac in our Raffles service back in December and this 32 place service is now fully booked. We are presently taking bookings for our 64 place service, Ritz, also located at Merrimac.

We continue to offer vacancies for low, high and dementia care. Low care vacancies are becoming limited and applicants are expected to pay a $450,000 bond. This amount is negotiable depending on asset assessment. There is a waiting list for concessional low-care vacancies. High care vacancies (both concessional and non-concessional) are still available presently.

There are many options available for residents who do not wish to sell their home or have other assets tied and so cannot pay their accommodation bond immediately. We can help you structure your affairs through a flexible resident agreement which enables you to enter ourn service today without waiting for the sale of property.
