The Anzac Day Commemoration service held on April 20th was the major event for our aged care Gold Coast facility.
The service was collaborated between the Robina Mudgeeraba RSL, Gold Coast City Brass Band, MPPC staff and residents. We had 2 of our residents laying the wreath while another lead the hymn ‘Abide with me’ and prayer reading. Our HoHS lowered/raised the flag and recited the Ode. A beautiful, memorable service enjoyed by all who attended including families.
Residents were entertained by Irma Courtney early April while the last happy hour of the month also included a performance by Lachlan. Both events saw terrific crowds with family members also joining.
Residents enjoyed creating photo frames from old CD’s. A group of scrabble enthusiasts donned their thinking caps to try and out score each other. A couple of first time scrabblers enjoyed their experience.
