Our check-ins at Merrimac have exceeded 20 residents within 4 weeks of opening. Many of our residents have relocated from existing services elsewhere on the Coast or finally decided to make the move into residential care after seeing how amazing Merrimac Park presents. Merrimac Park comprises 96 places of care, 48 low and 48 high and vacancies are available presently for both types of care, including dementia needs. High care vacancies will become limited shortly as we have been inundated with enquiries and forward bookings for high care over the next two weeks. Typically, low care residents would be asked to pay a $450k accommodation bond but we are running an opening special so that low care customers with any bond amount are presently able to move in based on the resident’s Centrelink Assessment. All of Merrimac Park’s rooms are single with ensuite, fully air-conditioned, with electric beds and televisions supplied. Our ground floor rooms also have outdoor patios. Our residents are welcome to bring their own furnishings as well.

The most important aspect of moving to Merrimac Park is to ensure that the resident has a current ACAT assessment which can be obtained via your local hospital. A current Centrelink Assessment is also handy to ensure checking into our service goes as smoothly as possible.
