Earlier this month a group of our lovely aged care residents from both Stanford and Wentworth piled into the facility’s bus and headed to Cleveland in Redland City.
A beautiful seaside suburb, Cleveland overlooks Raby Bay and boasts one of only two surviving wooden hexagonal lighthouse towers – the old Cleveland Point Light.
Our residents sat outside on this beautiful sunny winter’s day at Rafferty’s Café and devoured a delicious morning tea to their liking of scones, cakes and all things sweet.
It brought back memories of all of the scrumptious treats that our residents loved to bake.
Sat on the busy corner of Queen St and Bloomfield St our residents enjoyed the atmosphere and the sport of people watching.
