BBQ Picnic at Santa Barbara

Last month, we spent a beautiful sunny day out at Santa Barbara where we got to enjoy a cooked picnic lunch by our Lifestyle staff. The water was very clear and the company was amazing!

Happy Hour on Fridays

Our residents always loved and enjoyed Happy Hours. Last month, they spent it with our wonderful entertainers. Happy Hour is where we let our hair down and kick our feet up.

1950’s Week Starts with Elvis!

We kicked off our 1950’s week with guess who? Elvis!

He came and entertained us with all our old favorite tunes. Elvis also stayed and greeted some of his fans which absolutely made their day.

1950’s Bus Trip to Pancake Diner

To add to our 1950’s Week celebrations, some of the residents went to see a diner decorated for the 1950’s. It was a great trip down memory lane for some of them.

On Friday – the final day of the celebration, we had another fun Happy Hour with Wendy. It was a great Finale where we gave our residents mocktails to go with our theme. Some of our residents said that it was like re-living their youth all over again.

Visit from the Animal Farm

Last month, the residents were also visited by the Old Macdonald Farm. We got to meet the silky chickens for the first time.
