So Much to Smile About! Little Friends, Cars, and Sundaes
EKKA Fun
For over two days, our home took part in some EKKA fun with games, music, and some chickens! Of course, EKKA won’t be complete without the strawberry sundaes.
This year’s celebration was also a bit different. We stepped away from tradition by not having show bags. We did, however, have hidden prizes and everyone was sure to win something.
We also saw this as the perfect time to do a little fundraising – Flanno for a Farmer. We raised around $250.00 this year – a small amount maybe, but every cent counts, right?

Intergenerational Program
We have expanded our program which now includes our ‘little’ people from the ELO Wellington Point. The toddlers and preschoolers will be visiting us each month moving forward.
Last month, we hosted a very happy and active group of kids visiting for the first time. As expected, the first visit is all about getting to know your new surroundings.
We look forward to more interactive activities this September.

Birthdays, Entertainment and Trivia
From solo country artists to very large groups, we certainly did cover a few genres for EKKA and birthday celebrations.

Around Our Community
With Spring around the corner, we started to see more people out and about.
We also enjoyed lots of colour. And last month, we headed to the Gold Coast Car Museum which became one of the most interesting activities for those who went.

Daffodil Day
This year’s Daffodil Day was about making our own daffodils followed by morning tea. Our paint and sip theme was also daffodils!
