A Month of Smiles and Connection from Mother’s Day Crafts to Kids’ Giggles
Mother’s Day Celebrations
We celebrated mums last month with a Family Fun Day with Mother’s Day crafting. We also had Hapi Chicks come for a week of cuddles and on the 8th, we had Happy Hour with Jamie who gave all our ladies their Mother’s Day gifts. Lastly, we had a Wine and Cheese party plus facials and hand massages.
Little Angels Kindy Visits
We have a lovely kindy group visiting weekly during the school year. Intergenerational programs like this are such a delight for everyone. The kids bring a breath of fresh air to the room with the laughter and giggles they share with our residents.
Dance and Movement
Residents enjoyed dance and movement last month. Our amazing Jeo led the residents in chair dancing with his big smile and encouraging personality.
Gold Coast Auto Museum Bus Trip
Residents took a bus trip to the Gold Coast Auto Museum. We had a picnic after. The displays were wonderful and the residents are excited and looking forward to our Car Show in June.
Armchair Travel to Mexico
We travelled the globe with our intrepid globe trotters. We had so much fun in Mexico for Cinco de Mayo, dancing to the music, and site seeing. We all remembered to get our passports stamped. Next month, we will be heading to Brazil!

- 12th, 1:30 – 2:30 – Talent Show during Happy Hour
- 13th, 10:00 – 1:30 – Car Show Fundraiser (Live Music, Sausage Sizzle and Raffles)
- 19th, 6:00pm – 7:30pm – Karaoke Night
- Every Tuesday leaving at 9:00 am – Bus Trips (then back for lunch)
