Merrimac Park Car Show
We hosted a variety of car clubs who spent a morning with us. There were live music, raffles and a sausage sizzle for the feeling of a real car show.
The residents said they loved it and picked their favourite cars. Families and strangers also came to join us and share the fun. It was a filling community event!
Brazil Day
We celebrated Brazil Day with our own Jeo. We learned about his home country and played Brazilian Bingo. We also did some fishing and pin the tail on the donkey. Everyone had a wonderful time finished with a special lunch planned by our Chef.
Wild Rangers Animal Therapy
We had an educational visit from Wild Rangers who came with their collection of Australian animals. There was a black headed python, ring-tail possum, tawny frog mouth owl, and crocodile. The residents were all smiles!
Bus Outing to Mountview Alpaca Farm
We enjoyed a lovely picnic bus trip to see and feed the Alpacas. We relaxed after with a lovely morning tea with cheese and crackers prepared by Mountview Farm. Residents shared their lovely smiles and laughter while petting the animals.
Evening Activities
It was a wonderful paint and sip evening one night and a karaoke evening on another. We are looking forward to having more of these in the upcoming months.
