This month, we welcomed Silver Memories to Merrimac Park Private Care for a special performance. It was a delightful experience as we reminisced about a selection of timeless classic hits.
Residents and Families Christmas Lunches
We hosted three Christmas lunches for our residents and their families this month. It was a truly enjoyable three-day celebration, featuring festive live music, delicious cuisine, and plenty of laughter.
We were also fortunate to have Santa make special appearances throughout the event, adding to the holiday cheer.
Christmas Lights – Bus Outing
In celebration of December, we organized a late-night bus trip for the residents to enjoy the festive Christmas lights.
It was a wonderful outing, filled with excitement as we admired the beautiful light displays and explored the Gold Coast. Along the journey, we sang along to festive music, creating a truly joyful and memorable experience for all.
Santa’s Visit and Gift Giving
We were delighted to have Santa visit Merrimac Park Private Care on Christmas Eve to personally distribute presents to all our wonderful residents.
It was a magical moment, and the residents thoroughly enjoyed meeting Santa and opening their special gifts. The joy and excitement were truly heartwarming.
Ladies High Tea
For our annual Ladies’ Group gathering, we hosted another delightful Ladies’ High Tea, a tradition that continues to be greatly enjoyed. The residents were treated to an array of delicious cakes, sandwiches, and slices, all expertly prepared by our kitchen team.
It was a lovely afternoon, filled with warm conversation and enjoyable cups of tea, as the ladies caught up and shared good company.
