The month of June was filled with various activities for the Merrimac aged care residents such as making pizzas, a number of performances and a visit from Found By The Hound.
This month in Ritz, our residents got creative with pom pom art and pottery using air dry clay. Some residents tried making pendants, and some made animals.
Fitness in Ritz, our residents, enjoyed a relaxation exercise class on the Fridays and regular exercise on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with physical activities on Tuesdays including bowls and putt-putt golf.
Residents have also been enjoying music therapy with Tina and started repairing old furniture in their downtime.
Our Raffles residents enjoy relaxing walks around the beautiful gardens.
Some of the residents got to work on their response for the gen pal program.
They are also getting creative this month as they started making their own crystals.
Ritz got their bake on with delicious pizzas from topping as simple as cheese and garlic, all the way to seafood marinara. They had a wonderful time making their Italian masterpieces.
Merrimac started the month an impressive performance from the Sundancers followed by a happy hour concert from Mark Dean.
The last two Fridays had brilliant performances from Irma Courtney and The Lone Wolf during Happy Hour.
