Themed High Tea
Last month at our Nursing Home in Wellington Park, we hosted two enchanting high tea events that transported our residents to the magical worlds of classic literature.
At Wentworth, residents were immersed in the whimsical charm of Alice in Wonderland, donning delightful costumes that brought beloved characters like Alice, the Mad Hatter, and others to life.
Meanwhile, at Stanford, the theme was the timeless Wizard of Oz, where our residents went on an adventure by dressing up.
The event not only provided a delightful escape into fantastical worlds but also fostered a sense of community, creativity, and joy among our residents. Everyone enjoyed laughter, storytelling, and sweets together.
Wentworth and Stanford Bastille Day!
We celebrated Bastille Day with vibrancy and festivity that brought the spirit of France at the nursing home in Wellington. The tables were adorned with tiny French flags and we served delicious croissants, adding a touch of authentic Parisian charm to the celebration.
Some residents enhanced the French ambiance by wearing classic beret hats and the room was decorated to set the tone for a day filled with fun. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together for treats while chatting and learning about the rich cultural heritage of France.
Stanford Maggi Moo visits the Nursing Home
It was a delight to welcome the children and staff from Maggi Moo last month for a heartwarming visit. The atmosphere was vibrant, with colorful balloons and toys. Residents and kids wore superhero masks which created a playful ambiance.
The visit from Maggi Moo not only brightened the day for everyone involved but also reinforced the spirit of togetherness in play. These regular visits always bring immense joy to our residents creating cherished memories and friendly connection.
Stanford and Wentworth Concerts
The air was filled with melodies and liveliness last month as different performers took the stage in the nursing home in Wellington. You can see smiles from our residents’ faces. Well, the infectious energy invited many residents to get up and dancing.
These concerts never fail to entertain and the harmonious blend of music, dance, and shared enjoyment fosters positivity in the environment.
Stanford and Wentworth Cooking
To experience the culinary talents of our residents, both Stanford and Wentworth enjoyed preparing treats.
The aroma of freshly baked sweet treats filled the air which was really inviting. Residents also eagerly participated in preparing a vibrant fresh fruit salad, showcasing their creativity. Everyone enjoyed the tasty experience and delectable dishes.
