Cultural and Themed Events
Last month, our residents acknowledged Italian National Day. They made their own mini pizzas and it was surprising to see how many preferred pineapple on top!
We also celebrated Queensland Day. We discovered that not too many people heard of such event so we embarked on an exciting adventure – creating a timeline of Queensland’s history.
Creative Arts
Being creative, residents get involved in a range of activities which holistically benefit their overall wellbeing. This include flower arranging, plant pot decorating, sip and paint and mosaic crafts.
Birthdays and Entertainment
Celebrating our birthday celebrants each month takes in their preferences but mostly, the day usually combines with entertainers! Entertainers regularly perform in both buildings inside Wellington Park Private Care covering all genres.
Out and About
From bus trips to independent activities, there is always something going on inside our facility. Residents enjoy trips down memory lane, doing odd jobs, as well as casual walks to see the animals at our on site farm.
