Wentworth – NAIDOC Art

Last month, Wellington Park Aged Care celebrations include NAIDOC week. We celebrated with arts and craft whilst learning about the significance of NAIDOC Week. Wentworth residents participated in clay art and they made lovely clay sculptures.

Wentworth and Stanford Games

Our residents enjoyed lots of activities last July. Bingo, Balloon Tennis, Golf, Skittles and many more are just some of the games they loved! Indoor fun is perfect for the cooler winter days and we can’t wait for what games August has installed for us!

Wellington Park Aged Care Celebrations for Bastille Day

We celebrated the National Day of France this month also known as Bastille day. We baked home-made croissants, dressed in striped shirts, wore barrettes, and listened to beautiful French music whilst learning all about France.

Wentworth and Stanford Pipe Band

Our residents were visited by a local pipe band ensemble who played traditional Scottish music to spice up Wellington Park Aged Care celebrations last month. They were rugged up during the performance and as seen with the gleaming smiles, they thoroughly enjoyed it! We look forward to another visit.

Concerts and Farm Visits

Wentworth witnessed performances from the lovely Bill and Dawn as well as Lyn, Alistair and Lily! We also had visits to the farm on beautiful sunny days!
