Bus Trips
Merrimac Park Private Care residents enjoyed a scenic drive and picnics in the local area. We visited the River Mill museum, fed the animals and watched the children playing in the playground.
Oktoberfest
We celebrated Oktoberfest with style. We welcomed Zoltan our Entertainer who played tunes such as “Roll out the Barrels” and “Chicken Dance” using his accordion. There was some dancing and laughter with a beer or two. Everyone had so much fun.
High Tea
Our fancy high tea was full of talents and creativity from those who enjoy testing their general knowledge. Of course it was even more fun with the presence of those who love feasting on the culinary delights provided by our wonderful kitchen.
Belly Dancing
We were privileged to watch Sheherazde – an amazing belly dancer who performed for our residents. Everyone enjoyed the colorful and spectacular energy of her performance. We even had a few of our residents get up and join in the fun.
Happy Halloween at Merrimac Park Private Care
Our residents got to participate in a wonderful intergenerational activity. Some of the children came to visit where they experienced a safe trick or treating going from door to door. Residents were eagerly waiting for them so that they can share the traditional treats and sweets for them.
It was such a wonderful experience for the young ones as well as our lovely residents. There were smiles shared everywhere. The residents were so impressed with our little ones and their costumes. The Mums and Dads that came to escort them also got into their costumes which gave color to our hallways.

- 12th – Bus Outing where we get to picnic on the waterfront in Santa Barbara

- 17th – Concert and sing-along with Kelly at Raffles
- 24th – Back to the Eighties to Reminisce
- 25th – Old McDonalds farm visit.
