Fundraising, BBQs for Father’s Day, Pirate Day and more!
Shave For A Cure
Residents and staff took part in Shave for a Cure fundraiser and raised in excess of $3000. We would love to give a shoutout to Maya S. from Urban Hairdressing in Mount Gravatt for volunteering her afternoon to help make this possible.

Father’s Day
This year, the men in our lives celebrated Father’s Day enjoying BBQs with the Circle of Men.

Pirate Day
Wentworth celebrated Pirate Day last month. They wore costumes and shared morning tea and trivia together.

Arts and Crafts
Last month, we had another successful Paint and Sip session. The theme was Spring Time and DIY aroma stones were made.
Being creative with colours on paper, glass, and wood was also a popular choice. Aside from that, some of our residents were seen so dedicated working on a quilt.

Around our grounds.
Staff, families and residents alike enjoy time out. We relax out by the farm or enjoy casual walks.
Last month, the residents went on bus trips around the Bayside area and enjoyed a what we call ‘trip down memory lane’.
Finally, we didn’t end the month without celebrating birthdays and doing quite a bit of gardening.
