NAIDOC Week and Bastille Day
During NAIDOC week, residents made grass skirts. They also enjoyed dot painting on both canvas and paper.
And later in July, we went to France with high tea and a French quiz.
Bus Outings
Last month, we went to Carina Leagues Club for lunch. Everyone shared lots of laugh and enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and great service!
Other Cultural Events
Aside from NAIDOC and Bastille day, we also held a baby shower for a staff member who is about to have her 1st baby. Finally, we had a bit of fun with Game 3 – the decider in State of Origin – WELL DONE BLUES! :)
Arts, Crafts and Games
There’s always something creative happening at Wellington Park Private Care! Our residents have been busy painting, crafting, decorating, and working on hands-on projects.
From colourful creations to shared activities around the table, the residents stayed engaged enjoying each other’s company. Most importantly, there were plenty of smiles along the way!
Around Our Home
Everyone got busy last month as there’s always something going on around our homes. There were Tai Chi sessions, birthday celebrations and outdoor activities.
