Celebrated Love Month with Colorful Arts, Delicious Food, and Joyful Conversations
Culture Experiences
We had plenty of activities and events last month to experience different cultures. From arts and crafts to cooking and indulging in exciting flavours, our residents never ran out of fun.
We celebrated Waitangi Day with arts and spread the love with roses and bears for Valentine’s Day.
Finally, our residents enjoyed making pancakes on Shrove Tuesday and Tea Tasting during the Lunar New Year.

Community and Social Awareness
Everyday residents will meet up with each other or with organized groups for chats.
Each week, volunteer groups from the Circle of Men visit the boys where they will share stories, tell jokes and sing. Our women’s group on the other hand get involved in different activities like gardening.
Residents also stop by to visit other residents living within the home to strengthen existing friendships and create new ones.
One of the bus outings last month took us to The Hoya Garden Plaza where we ate. Some of us spent some quality time going for a walk around the gift shop and nursery and some did a little shopping.

Around the Grounds
Everyone has an ongoing project always. They do a lot of arts and crafts. One of the projects is upcycling disused tables. It doesn’t matter if you spend 5 minutes or 1 hour. The projects continue.
