St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, Lots of Birthdays, and Garden Projects
Cultural Experiences
Last month, we focused on creativity and memories through art and film. Residents throughout our home created hats for St. Patrick’s Day, prepared a cupcake tower and watched an Irish Movie courtesy of Joel Archer.

Birthdays and Entertainment
We celebrated quite a few birthdays all throughout March. We also enjoyed getting together with our entertainers. And last month, we were treated to poems by Peter, serenaded by Geraldine and with regular rocker, Jamie.

Garden Projects
With the weather starting to become more favourable, a few of us started projects around the garden areas. According to some of the residents, getting in and getting your hands dirty is a sign of accomplishment.

Around Our Home
There’s always something going on each month. Last month was no different. It could be strolls up to the farm, bus trips or getting together for exercises, games or just quick chats.

What we may have missed.
We do love our physical activities. It’s engaging! It’s competitive and fun! And we are always encouraging our family and friends to join in with us.
Last March, residents were encouraged to continue on with purposeful activities (we won’t say ‘chores’ because that involves ‘work’).
And with the Easter coming up, everyone prepared for raffle time!
