Maggie Moo at Wellington Park Private Care
Our Wentworth residents spent the morning with the girls, parents and babies of Maggie Moo! The room was filled with smiles and laughter while they enjoyed games, singing and playing dress up. We look forward to seeing them again!
Bunny Making
It’s a sunny afternoon and a perfect time for the Wentworth residents to make bunnies out of tea towels. The lifestyle team in Diamond assisted them. As you can see in the photos, they were all very happy with the outcome of their bunnies ready for Easter!
Easter Eggs and Cupcakes
Our Lifestyle Easter bunnies delivered chocolate Easter eggs to the residents of both Wentworth and Stanford. They were smiling from ear to ear with their delicious treats.
On the same day, our Wentworth residents decorated Easter cupcakes for afternoon tea to gift and wish our lovely staff a happy Easter!
Easter High Tea
On Easter morning, Wellington Park Private Care residents enjoyed a lovely High Tea. They shared a delightful assortment of cakes, pastries, slices, fruits, tea, coffee and punch made by our amazing kitchen staff. We also drew our Easter Raffle and witnessed the sparkly smiles from our lucky winners! Happy Easter Wellington Park!
Concerts at Stanford
Our Stanford residents enjoyed musical performances from the Top Notes band and solo artist Alan Mac. They had a lovely time singing and dancing to both concerts and are excited for their next visit!
Community Outings
Wellington Park Private Care residents from both buildings enjoyed our two outings last month. We went to The Farm and The Bush Pantry for morning tea. They enjoyed the lovely spread provided from both cafe’s and had a great time catching up with each other over sips of tea and coffee.
Poppy-making and Stories
Our ladies group of Wentworth enjoyed an artistic afternoon making craft for ANZAC day. We had discussions about ANZAC and shared who had friends or loved ones who served our country. They sewed, painted and colored in beautiful poppies to decorate our building with.
ANZAC Service
Our Residents attended our wonderful ANZAC service inside Wellington Park Private Care hosted by our Lifestyle team. We all paid tribute to those who served our country and had loved ones represent their families in the laying of our wreaths. We do this to remember those who came before us and thank them for their service.
