Wentworth Concerts and Maggi Moo
Wellington Park Nursing Home residents enjoyed lots of entertainment last month from indoor and outdoor concerts to room visit performances! Wentworth received a visit from Maggi Moo’s families and the little children filled the room with song and smiles. We’re looking forward to what fun September has to bring!
Stanford Concert, Bingo and Men’s Group
Our residents at Stanford love to sing and dance with our performers and that’s exactly what they did last month! They also enjoyed games of bingo and are lucky enough to have their own caller – one of our residents, Roy! On Wednesdays, our men enjoyed chatting, singing and sharing laughs with the men’s group circle. We can’t wait to see what September has in stall for Stanford too.
Cooking, Crafts, and Farm visits
Creativity does not fall short for Wellington Park Nursing Home residents. In Wentworth, they cooked up a storm and delicious spread of Yorkshire puddings with gravy, lemonade scones and chocolate truffles! In Stanford, our ladies made wonderful father’s day cards for all the dads of the facility. We also visited the farm and were lucky to have tiny baby chooks visit us too.
EKKA Celebration in Wellington Park Nursing Home
Last month, we celebrated EKKA with games, prizes, balloon making, and ice cream sundaes. Of course, it wouldn’t be EKKA without a showbag!
It’s raining daffodils!
We made wonderful daffodils during craft sessions last month to celebrate Daffodil Day.
