Wellington Park Nursing Services Enjoying Outings Again

Father’s Day Celebration

It was lovely to celebrate Father’s Day inside Wellington Park Nursing Services with our residents and make them feel special on this day.

In the Stanford building, we got creative with our centre table pieces and they looked absolutely amazing. Both Wentworth and Stanford had a lovely afternoon with concerts in both buildings which put a smile on everyone’s faces.

Back for More Community Outings

It has been amazing to be able to get back and see the residents socialize in the community which is such a pleasure to see.

Bush Pantry has a beautiful surrounding making it our first destination for September for morning tea. It’s such a fantastic venue with beautiful food and wonderful staff. Residents were very happy and gave great feedback wanting to return again soon.

Stanford on the other hand had a scenic trip down to Cleveland Point with a stop for Ice Cream which residents really enjoyed. Some great destinations are already planned for October.

Book Day with Dress Up

Wellington Park Nursing Services celebrated Book Day with dress up as your favourite book character. Residents enjoyed seeing the staff dressed up.

In Stanford, we did book folding which is always a relaxing time spent together and the end results are amazing.

Creative Art Sale at Wellington Park Nursing Services

Please don’t forget to check out the sale stands in both Wentworth and Stanford with items the residents have made with love.

They have done such a great job with these these items and they certainly offer a variety of goodies.  The newest successful project was canvas art with circles. You can find them inside the Stanford building.

White Board Word Search

This activity is held in both Wentworth and Stanford. As you can see in the photos below, the residents up in the Stanford have broken their record – now up to 165 words. They are so proud and really love the challenge each time.
